Paige E. Berry, M.S.
Paige Berry has more than 35 years of experience in the fields of deafness, deaf-blindness and interpreting. She is the program director of Senior Adult Services for the Helen Keller National Center in Sands Point, N.Y. Her office is located in the Department of Rehabilitation Counseling at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she is a clinical assistant professor and teaches courses in American Sign Language and Aging with Vision and Hearing Loss. Berry holds a masters degree in rehabilitation counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. She coordinates and conducts professional and consumer training, provides consultation and technical assistance, develops specialized resource materials, and advocates for services for senior adults who are deaf-blind or who are experiencing combined loss of hearing and vision. She has won numerous awards for her work in the field of deaf-blindness. In 1997, Berry was honored by the Perkins School for the Blind with the prestigious Anne Sullivan Medal “in recognition of her years of commitment and exemplary efforts on behalf of people who are deaf-blind throughout the United States.” Ms. Berry can be reached by email at hkncpaigeoap@aol.com.
