Virginia Commonwealth University and the Department of Rehabilitation Counseling offers financial assistance to students. Please review the information below to learn about the options.
The Office
of Financial Aid provides information on federal assistance such as subsidized and unsubsidized federal loans and work-study programs. Their office provides required forms, deadlines and planning worksheets.
The
Graduate School offers information on fellowship and assistantship opportunities, tuition and fees, and employment opportunities.
Traineeships: The Department of Rehabilitation Counseling offers traineeships to students currently working in Public Vocational Rehabilitation agencies. These traineeships typically cover tuition and fees but are based on the availability of funding each year.
For estimated tuition and fees, go to the VCU Enrollment Services, Tuition and Fees page, and click on the link labeled “Tuition and Fees Calculator” in the box at the right side of the page.
- For students in the master’s program in Rehabilitation Counseling, go to select a program and put in Graduate-MCV Campus.
- For students in the master’s program and distance learning program, go to select a program and put in Graduate-Professional MS in Rehab Counseling.
- For students in the certificate program in Professional Counseling, go to select a program and put in Graduate-Professional MS in Rehab Counseling.
- For students in the certificate program in Professional Counseling and will be in the distance learning program, go to select a program and put in Graduate-Professional MS in Rehab Counseling.
